Members and residents in the Chicago Dermatological Society are invited to drop in to virtual sessions each month for fellowship, discussion and personal growth.  These are recurring virtual meetings on Zoom... no formal registration required, just drop in and participate!  Our overriding goal is to maintain the joy and fun in practicing dermatology!

With four sessions under our belt now, we are fine-tuning the presentations at bit.  CDS Connections is open to all members and residents.  We've organized the evening into two, related sessions.

Connections Through Knowledge -- 1st hour from 6 to 7 p.m.

During the first portion of the evening, our guest experts give a presentation pertaining to the topic of the evening.  This basically "sets the table" for the second session.

Connections Through Experience -- 2nd hour from 7 to 8 p.m.

The second segment of the meeting is designed to solidify our learning through experience.  The guest speakers will lead the group through exercises and dialog.

Come prepared to participate!  This definitely is not a time to passively listen to a lecture.  If you have a suggestion for a discussion topic or an exercise, please send an email to David Mann so we can put it on the docket.  CDS Connections is intended to be for you... the members and residents in training.  We want it to be something you desire and has value.

Connections - February 2021

The next program will be on on February 23, 2021 -- 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Both hours remain open to all CDS members and residents.

  • Hour #1 (6-7 p.m.) will focus on knowledge.
    • Dr. Peter Lio will give a didactic lecture.  Tips and specific approaches will be shared by Drs. Apple Bodemar and Raja Sivamani.  Our goal is to cultivate an open, engaging dialogue.
